Robin Wood Flowers Delivery Driver

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented part-time Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering fresh floral arrangements while providing exceptional customer service. This role is an important part of creating memorable experiences for our customers by ensuring every delivery arrives on time and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport floral arrangements, plants, and other merchandise to homes, businesses, hospitals, funeral homes, churches, and event venues.
Carefully load, secure, and unload delicate floral products to prevent damage during transit.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality.
Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
Provide courteous, professional customer service during every delivery.
Communicate with the shop regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle.
Assist with vehicle fueling and routine inspections.
Help with shop duties between deliveries, including:
Cleaning buckets, containers, and work areas
Processing flowers and plants
Organizing inventory
Assisting with holiday preparation
Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and maps.
Comfortable driving in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle fragile products with care.
Floral industry experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Ability to enter and exit a delivery vehicle multiple times throughout the day.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Ability to safely lift and carry floral arrangements, plants, and supplies.

Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging 20-30 hours a week.
Must be available to work weekdays, Saturdays and holiday weeks during peak floral seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.).
