Social Media & Events Assistant

Position Overview
Robin Wood Flowers is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media & Events Assistant to join our team. This role supports both our social media presence and our wedding and event operations. Responsibilities include capturing and creating content in the shop and at events, assisting with event setup and styling, and helping execute social media content that reflects our luxury wedding and event brand. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment, and has an eye for design, photography, and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities
• Capture, create, and execute photo and video content in the shop, during floral design work, and at weddings/events and research social media trends, reel ideas, and trending audio
• Assist with wedding and event setup, styling, installations, and breakdown as needed
• Edit videos and create graphic content using Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar programs and work with the internal team to ensure all content aligns with the RWF brand identity and aesthetic
• Coordinate with professional wedding photographers to obtain and share professional images for social media and help maintain an organized content library in Apple Photos and Dropbox for future marketing use

Qualifications
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe programs, or similar editing software (iPhone photography, filming, and editing)
• Interest in weddings, events, floral design, or creative industry
• Ability to work evenings or weekends for weddings/events
• 1–2 years of work experience in social media, events, marketing, or creative field preferred

• Creative, organized, self-motivated and visually driven
• Comfortable working both in a shop environment and at weddings/events
• Understands brand identity and luxury wedding aesthetic
• Positive attitude and adaptable in a team environment and willingness to help wherever needed during event and wedding days.
