The Robin & Sadie Way
Robin Wood, an Ohio native and lifelong garden enthusiast, founded the shop in 2001 after a celebrated career as Cincinnati’s most recognized female voice in rock 'n' roll radio. Robin decided that a flower shop was a natural transition for her second act. Robin Wood Flowers began 25 years ago with a personal passion for fresh flowers and all things growing. Over those years this women-owned enterprise has grown from a three-person flower studio into a full-fledged floral and event business, designing unique flower arrangements for daily gifting, weddings and events.
Robin is the self-described floral hunter and gatherer, rising before dawn to search locally and abroad for the freshest, most beautiful and exotic blooms. Whether buying from local flower farmers, the fields of California and Ecuador, or the Dutch market, each shipment is carefully inspected upon arrival and admired enthusiastically.
Today, Robin is joined by her daughter Sadie, whose modern sensibility and fresh perspective bring a new energy and creative vision to the business. Together, they’re shaping what’s next—growing through inspired thinking, deepening client connections, and staying true to their botanical, timeless style. With a background in environmental science and social work, she brings a lively, fresh perspective to weddings and client management. Sadie coordinates all pieces of your experience from initial consultation, proposal design, venue visits, team introductions and the delivery timeline. She is the glue that connects all parts of the wedding to ensure that you are delighted and smiling throughout the entire process working with our talented team.
